i thought about this On Monday 9th November year 2 went on an amazing trip to explore our local history. All of the children were very well behaved and we enjoyed finding out about ‘The Great Fire of Northampton.’

First, we walked the route of the fire. Can you answer these questions?
this contact form Where did the fire start?
What caused the fire?
What route did the townspeople take to escape?
How did they survive?
How were the townspeople feeling?

Then we were able to explore Northampton Museum. Some of us tried on clothes from the time of the fire whilst others enjoyed trying on some very fashionable footwear!

It was a great day! In Literacy we are now using everything we know about the fire to write a recount of what happened back in 1675 to our very own town!
